Today we spent a little time looking at third conditional or unreal past again. We arranged Suzie's story and talked about how things could have been different for Suzie and her dad if they'd made different decisions.

Everyone seemed happy enough so we moved on to some problem solving.
We read about Frank's problem and thought of some various possible problems and how to solve them. Amador and Francesco even made up a new type of helpline - especially for criminals!
Afterwards we looked at different ways we use the verb to think. It can be an idiomatic or common spoken phrase or it can refer to having opinions or using your mind.
We asked about the difference between to think of something and to think about something.
To think of something means to give a general opinion without thinking very deeply about it but
to think about something means that you spend a lot of time thinking or give a very detailed opinion.
Homework:
- Find an Irish person and ask them what they think of someone or something. Post your experience in the commentary below.
- Is there someone you think the world of? Why? Answer below if you like.
My answer - I think the world of my friend Emma; she always helps me when I need her to do something, she makes me laugh a lot and she always listens when I have a problem. I'd be lost without her.
See you tomorrow!

I think the world of my brother Dongyoung.Kim.
ReplyDeleteWe frequently argued and fought because He is older than me just 1 year.
However, He is always worried about me, helps me a lot and gives me a lot of advice that is how to study or how to overcome some problems.
Sometimes he seems a friend. We rarely went to nightclub together and drunk too much.
So I love my brother and I won’t live without my brother.
I met my neighbour in the lift and asked what she think of the weather in Dublin.
ReplyDeleteshe told me to like the weather here because it never gets too hot in the summer because she had been in Australia and liked the country but dosen't liked the weather.
